Now-a-days plenty of researches are initiated especially for the physically challenged peoples. Because the inabilities of these peoples are mostly depending the outside help. In this research, the automatic wheel chair controlling is the main area where the numerous studies are processing in every day. This project is focusing the automatic control of solar powered Wheel chair movement.
This project is introducing the patient’s tongue controlled wheel chair movement where it is possible to construct this novel technique by fixing IR sensor on his/her cheeks and form the movement sensed by the tongue of the patient, the signal the signal can be processed and given into the embedded system in the chair system. The embedded system is mainly accessing the wheel motors and by the way, the wheel chair control can be driven automatically.
This project also geneses an eco-friendly wheel chair system where the main power source will be solar system. The solar panels can be fixed on the wheel chair and hence it will feed the power to the embedded system and also the wheel motors. This solar powered wheel chair can replace the battery system so the overall cost can be reduced. Moreover the lifetime of the battery may be decade gradually in the existing systems but the solar powered system is having maximum life time.

Bluetooth device is interfaced to the control unit on the robot for sensing the signals transmitted by the android application.
